New York Strip Steak with Red Wine Reduction, Israeli Cous-cous, and Steamed Vegetables

Chuck roast with Brussels Sprouts, Carrots, Parsnip, and Potatoes.

Dinner by Emily: Coho and Gulf Shrimp, asparagus, baked potato.

I made carne asada tacos with jasmine rice and refried beans.

Dinner by me:

Boneless pork chop with an orange and white wine pan sauce, mashed sweet potatoes, and green beans sautéd in mirin.

Dinner by Emily: Chorizo sausage with corn, black beans, zucchini and onions. Leftover purple Jasmine rice on the side.

Dinner by Emily:

Bone-in chicken thighs slow-cooked with Yukon Gold medallions and carrots. Tasty!

Low point of yesterday: Got in the car. Turned on the radio. Immediately heard the lyric, “It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas…” and yelled back, “NO, IT’S F***ING NOT!” … I was alone.
